What is the Exam Attempt page?
The Exam Attempt page is where you complete a selected examination paper. It displays all the questions in the paper and allows you to submit your answers for marking.
What does the Report button do?
Click Report to open the Exam Report, where you can review your performance by Topic, Concept and Marks to identify your strengths and areas for improvement.
What does the View button do?
Click View to review your completed exam attempt, including your answers, step-by-step solutions and performance.
How many times can I attempt an exam?
Each Paper 1 and Paper 2 can be attempted up to 5 times. This allows students to monitor their progress and improve their performance over multiple attempts.
What is the difference between Paper 1 and Paper 2?
Paper 1 consists mainly of short-answer questions, while Paper 2 contains longer structured and problem-solving questions. Both papers should be completed for a full exam practice experience.
What information is shown for each exam?
Each exam displays:
- Exam name and year.
- Date of your latest attempt.
- Paper 1 and Paper 2 status.
- Latest score for each paper.
- Overall percentage.
- Overall grade.
- View and Start buttons.
- Report button (available after completing an exam).
How do I start an exam?
Click Start beside Paper 1 or Paper 2 to begin the exam. If you have already started an exam, click View to review your completed attempt or continue your latest attempt (where applicable).
What is PSLE Look-Alike exam?
A PSLE Look-Alike exam is created by adapting actual PSLE examination papers. Each paper retains the original question types and concepts but uses new numbers, values or scenarios, allowing students to practise authentic PSLE-style questions while developing genuine mastery.
What exams are available?
Exam Practice includes a collection of examination papers organised by level and year. For Primary 6, PSLE Look-Alike examination papers are also available to help students prepare for the PSLE.
- Timed exam conditions.
- Automatic marking and instant feedback.
- Written solutions and video explanations (where available).
- Performance reports after each exam.
What is Exam Practice?
Exam Practice displays PSLE Look-Alike exam papers organised by year. From this page, you can:
- View all available exam papers.
- Start or continue Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Attempt each paper up to 5 times.
- View your attempt history for each exam.
- View the date of each attempt.
- See your latest score, percentage and grade.
- Review your Paper 1 and Paper 2 solutions.
- Open your exam performance report.
How should I use the reports in Focused Practice for revision?
Start by reviewing the topics, concepts or marks with the lowest mastery. Review the solutions, watch the video explanations (where available), and use Generate New to practise additional question variations until you achieve mastery.
How can I sort the mastery reports in Focused Practice?
You can sort the Topic and Concept reports in three ways:
- Less Mastery ? More Mastery – Displays the topics or concepts with the lowest mastery first.
- Default – Displays the topics or concepts in iSchool's recommended learning sequence.
- A to Z – Displays the topics or concepts in alphabetical order.
What do the green and red bars represent in Focused Practice?
- Green – Master questions answered correctly.
- Red – Master questions answered incorrectly.
This allows you to quickly identify your level of mastery for each topic, concept or marks category.
What mastery reports are available in Focused Practice?
Six mastery reports are available:
Each set includes:
- Three for your First worksheet attempt.
- Three for your Latest worksheet attempt.
Each set includes:
- Mastery by Topic
- Mastery by Concept
- Mastery by Marks
What is the difference between the First and Latest reports?
First shows the results from the first time you attempted the Focused Practice worksheet. Latest shows the results from your most recent attempt of the same Focused Practice worksheet. Comparing the two reports helps you see how your mastery has changed over time.
What is the Focused Practice Report page?
The Focused Practice Report page summarises your worksheet performance and helps you identify your strengths and areas for improvement. It allows you to:
- Review your First and Latest worksheet performance.
- View mastery reports by Topic, Concept and Marks.
- Compare your First and Latest worksheet attempts.
- Identify your stronger and weaker areas.
- Focus your revision on topics, concepts and marks that need more practice.
What does the Generate New button do?
Click Generate New to create a new variation of the same master question. The new question tests the same concept and solving method using different numbers, values or scenarios to reinforce mastery. The attempt is automatically tracked in the Question Bank, and your Question Bank Progress reports are updated accordingly.
What information is shown on the Attempt History page?
The page displays:
- The question.
- Your submitted answer.
- Whether your answer was correct or incorrect.
- The marks allocated for the question.
- The time taken.
- The concept tags tested.
- A Generate New button for additional practice.
What is the difference between the First and Latest buttons?
First shows your answer from the first time you attempted the worksheet question. Latest shows your answer from your most recent worksheet attempt.
What is the Attempt History page?
The Attempt History page lets you review a specific question from your First or Latest worksheet attempt. It allows you to:
- Switch between your First and Latest attempts.
- Review the question and your submitted answer.
- Check whether your answer was correct or incorrect.
- View the time taken and marks for the question.
- Review the concept tags for the question.
- Generate a new variation for additional practice.
