What should my child do after getting a question wrong?

A

Making mistakes is an important part of learning. Encourage your child to understand the mistake before moving on.

Do not immediately reveal or memorise the answer.
Compare your child's solution with the written solution.
Watch the Video Explanation if the solving method is still unclear.
Identify whether the mistake was caused by a concept gap, calculation error, misunderstanding of the question or carelessness.
Click Generate New and solve a new variation without referring to the previous solution.
Repeat until your child can explain the method and solve similar questions confidently without help.
Revisit the concept a few days later to strengthen long-term retention.
