Q
How often should my child practise each week?
A
Regular, consistent practice is far more effective than occasional long study sessions.
- Aim for 4–5 practice sessions each week, with each session lasting 30–45 minutes.
- Focus each session on one or two weak Topics or Concepts rather than covering many areas.
- Review mistakes before moving on to new questions.
- Use Generate New until your child can solve similar question types confidently and independently.
- From June onwards, complete 1–2 timed PSLE Look-Alike Exams each week to build exam readiness and identify remaining weak areas.
- Increase the amount of revision and exam practice as the PSLE approaches while continuing targeted practice on weaker Concepts.
- Consistent, focused practice leads to better long-term improvement than occasional intensive revision.
