Q
How should my child revise throughout the year?
A
Effective PSLE Math revision is about building strong foundations first, then gradually increasing exam practice as the PSLE approaches.
- Focus on learning one Topic and Concept at a time before moving on to the next.
- Complete Focused Practice worksheets until your child has mastered Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
- Use Generate New to practise different variations of the same question type until the solving method becomes familiar.
- Review mistakes using the written solutions, Video Explanations and Revision Notes.
- Check the Reports page regularly to identify weak Topics and Concepts that require more practice.
- As more of the syllabus is completed (typically from June onwards), begin attempting one to two timed PSLE Look-Alike Exams each week to build speed, confidence and exam stamina.
- Continue alternating between targeted practice and timed exams throughout the year to strengthen understanding and prepare for the PSLE.
