How should a student strengthen understanding (45–74 Marks / AL5–AL6) using iSchool?
A
Students who are strengthening their understanding should focus on closing learning gaps while improving confidence and consistency.
- Use Reports to identify weaker Topics and Concepts.
- Practise mainly 2-mark and 3-mark questions (Level 1–2).
- Students scoring around 60–74 marks can also attempt selected Level 3 questions in stronger Topics and Concepts.
- Use Generate New to practise different question variations until the solving method becomes familiar.
- Complete Level 1 and Level 2 Focused Practice worksheets to strengthen weaker Topics and Concepts. Students scoring around 60–74 marks may also attempt selected Level 3 worksheets in stronger areas.
- If your child is in Primary 6, also practise PSLE-tagged questions at the same mark and difficulty level to become familiar with PSLE question types and wording.
- Attempt timed exams regularly, increasing the frequency as school examinations approach to build exam confidence, improve time management and identify areas for improvement.
