Q

How should my child revise during the final weeks before the PSLE?

A
During the final weeks before the PSLE, the focus should be on reinforcing strengths, correcting weak areas and building confidence rather than learning many new topics.
  • Continue attempting 2–3 timed PSLE Look-Alike Exams each week under exam conditions.
  • Review every incorrect question using the Exam Report and identify the weak Topics and Concepts involved.
  • Use the recommended links in the Exam Report to practise similar question types with Generate New until your child can solve them confidently.
  • Watch the Video Explanations and refer to the Revision Notes whenever the solving method is unclear.
  • Continue practising weaker Topics using Focused Practice until your child can answer accurately and consistently.
  • Review common mistakes, key formulas and frequently tested problem-solving strategies instead of introducing many new concepts.
  • During the final few days before the examination, reduce the workload, maintain a regular sleep routine and focus on revising familiar concepts.

By this stage, your child's focus should be on reinforcing what they already know, correcting recurring mistakes and entering the examination with confidence.
