Q

How can my child improve their PSLE Math AL score by one grade?

A
Improving by one AL grade is usually achieved through consistent, targeted practice rather than simply completing more questions.
  • Use Reports to identify the topics and concepts where your child loses the most marks.
  • Prioritise weaker topics instead of repeatedly practising stronger ones.
  • Start with lower-mark and lower-difficulty questions before progressing to more challenging questions.
  • Use Generate New to practise different variations until the solving method becomes familiar.
  • Review every mistake carefully using the written solutions, video explanations and revision notes.
  • Complete Focused Practice worksheets to strengthen weak concepts systematically.
  • Attempt PSLE Look-Alike Exams regularly to improve accuracy, speed and exam confidence.
  • Track your child's progress using Reports and continue focusing on concepts that have not yet been mastered.

Small improvements across several topics and concepts often add up to one full AL grade. Consistent, targeted practice is usually far more effective than simply completing a large number of questions.
