My child is weak in a topic or concept. Where should we start?
A
- Identify the weak Topic or Concept using the Progress Reports, Focused Practice Report or Exam Report.
- Open the Question Bank and find questions with the same Concept tag.
- If your child is struggling, start with lower-mark or lower-difficulty questions to rebuild confidence before progressing to more challenging questions.
- If necessary, revisit questions from earlier primary levels to strengthen the underlying concepts before returning to the current level.
- Watch the Video Explanation if your child needs help understanding the solving method.
- Click Generate New to practise different variations until your child can solve similar questions confidently without help.
- Complete a Focused Practice worksheet to reinforce learning.
- Attempt a PSLE Look-Alike Exam to check whether your child can apply the concept together with other topics under exam conditions.
- Review the Focused Practice Report, Exam Report and Progress Reports to confirm that mastery has improved before moving on.
